Las Becas Fulbright, otorgadas por el gobierno de EEUU, permiten a individuos norteamericanos ir al extranjero y a ciudadanos de otros países viajar a EEUU para estudiar, enseñar y realizar investigaciones académicas. Más de 114 mil extranjeros y 61 mil estadounidenses han aprovechado la oportunidad que ofrece el Programa Fulbright desde su fundación por el senador Democrático William Fulbright en 1946
